La Comisión Nacional de Sanidad de China informó hoy de que se detectaron 17 nuevos positivos del coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 en el país asiático este sábado, 14 de los cuales, en la capital.
Todos los contagios detectados en Pekín -donde a principios de mes se produjo un rebrote que ha llevado a realizar análisis médicos a buena parte de la población capitalina- se han producido por transmisión local.
Los 3 casos restantes les fueron diagnosticados a viajeros procedentes del extranjero (los conocidos como casos «importados») y se localizaron en Shanghái (este, 1), la provincia de Shaanxi (centro, 1) y la de Gansú (centro-norte, 1).
Los 17 casos de este sábado son 4 menos que los registrados el viernes (21), y 4 más que los detectados el jueves (13).
Además, las autoridades sanitarias detallaron que, hasta la pasada medianoche local (16.00 hora GMT del sábado), se ha dado de alta a 7 pacientes, con lo que el número total de infectados activos en China es de 415, 8 de los cuales están graves.
La fuente no anunció nuevos fallecimientos por la COVID-19, por lo que la cifra se mantuvo en 4.634, entre los 83.500 infectados diagnosticados oficialmente en China desde el inicio de la pandemia, y de los que 78.451 superaron con éxito la enfermedad y fueron dados de alta.
Hasta la fecha se ha realizado seguimiento médico a 761.721 contactos cercanos con infectados, de los cuales 7.445 continúan en observación, y de ellos 8 serían casos sospechosos de haberse contagiado del virus.
En cuanto a los infectados asintomáticos, China registró 7 nuevos casos en este último informe, lo que deja el total de personas en esas circunstancias bajo observación en 106. EFE
