La Fiscalía General del Estado de Ecuador llevó a cabo una contundente acción en la madrugada de hoy, mediante una serie de operativos realizados en varias provincias del país como parte de la investigación denominada caso Plaga. Estos operativos han sacado a la luz la existencia de una red de delincuencia organizada infiltrada en el sistema judicial ecuatoriano.
Como resultado de esta operación, se procedió a la detención de varios individuos, entre ellos policías, abogados, jueces y secretarios con roles clave en instituciones públicas. Algunos de los nombres de las personas detenidas en estas acciones son los siguientes:
1. José Alfredo M. B., exfuncionario del SNAI, detenido en Ambato.
2. Simón Oswaldo G., exjuez investigado en el caso, detenido en Rocafuerte, Manabí.
3. Joffre Javier R. R., exjuez de primer nivel, detenido en Chone, Manabí.
4. Gary Fabricio P., secretario de juzgado y unidades judiciales, detenido en Portoviejo, Manabí.
5. Byron Michael O. G., juez de primer nivel en el cantón Flavio Alfaro, Manabí.
6. María José L., funcionaria judicial en el cantón Pasaje, El Oro.
7. Franklin Edmundo T., juez detenido en Machala.
Estos arrestos han sido parte de un importante golpe contra la corrupción y la infiltración de la delincuencia organizada en el sistema judicial, mostrando el compromiso de las autoridades ecuatorianas en la lucha contra este tipo de prácticas ilegales. La sociedad espera que este tipo de acciones contribuyan a fortalecer la institucionalidad y la transparencia en el país.
Además de las detenciones previamente mencionadas, se llevaron a cabo arrestos adicionales en el marco de la operación realizada por la Fiscalía General del Estado de Ecuador. Algunos de los individuos arrestados son los siguientes:
1. Marco Patricio C. C., policía en servicio activo, detenido en los exteriores del Centro de Privación de Libertad N°8, en Guayaquil.
2. Omar Israel J., abogado y exfuncionario del SNAI, detenido en Cuenca.
3. Ángel L., exjuez ya procesado en el caso Metástasis, detenido en Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.
4. Lenin V., interno de la cárcel 4 de Quito, notificado con una nueva orden de detención.
5. José T. Ch., abogado en libre ejercicio, detenido en Quito.
6. Hugo Alexander L. O., detenido en Riobamba.
Estos arrestos adicionales amplían el alcance de la investigación y refuerzan la determinación de las autoridades en desmantelar redes de corrupción y delincuencia organizada que han infiltrado distintas esferas de la sociedad ecuatoriana.
